The Project Supervisor for the Construction Stage (PSCS) is a statutory appointment required under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013. The client must appoint a competent PSCS, in writing, before construction begins, for every project that involves a particular risk, is scheduled to last longer than 30 working days or 500 person days, or involves more than one contractor.
